Motivate yourself with a motivation trainer and see yourself get more success in life
Everyone knows what a personal trainer is. A personal trainer is a fitness professional involved in exercise prescription and instruction for the body. So what is a motivation trainer?
I discovered the term motivation trainer because a personal trainer works with the individual to address discipline and motivation for the physical body. So what is motivating us on the inside so the outside can happen? Self-motivation is not easy, in fact it can be like an uphill climb. Some people can naturally self-motivate, and other people find it hard. Does this mean there is something wrong with you, or that person is better? No way. We are all made up differently, have different talents and personalities. Maybe at this time in your life there are stresses, sadness, burdens, health issues etc. You may have hit a wall, or want to start something up example: new hobby, new venture, study, career move, business pursuit, but find it difficult to initiate.
As the saying goes ‘spirit is willing but the flesh is weak’. Finding motivation ‘naturally’ is not like a new mobile phone that flawlessly works when it’s switched on. Not having motivation/drive can be linked to a number of underlying matters and circumstances surrounding the individual. It’s not a one-stop shop.
I use an eclectic mix of techniques and tools to hone in on:
1. Why the motivation is lacking? i.e. the source
2. What can be done about the gap?
3. Implementing steps to feed the gap, where the individual would like their motivation to be, so they can be motivated again and re-sparked.
*As a motivation trainer or ‘motivation mentor’ my main focus is working with the individual to target where motivation is lacking. For example the individual may have fuel that is already present, and just a spark is needed to set the ‘motivation’ alight again. That’s my job, helping to bring back some spark. At the end of the day it’s a team effort, the client and myself working together.
I have faced many hurdles throughout my life, personal and in the business world. Slowly over time i came up with my own ‘motivation formula’. *My style of motivating can adapt to the individual, however i maintain a base foundation of unyielding support. I do not conduct my style of delivery like a personal trainer. Motivation Training can be quite complex depending on the individual, and may encompass holistic techniques.
If you are at a point in your life where some things are working and yet on the other side you are unmotivated, in a rut (so to speak), want to achieve a goal big or small, find it hard to lift yourself up, and/or cant action things, this is a motivation slump!
